ABOUT US - 2008

My wife and & I, Viorica & Stephen Palmer and our daughter Cristina Maia (4 months) live in our mountain guesthouse from March until November, where we personally take care of our guests to customise the holiday of your choice.

We are situated in the heart of the Carpathian mountains in a small mountain village BREBU NOU, approx. 2 ½ hrs drive from the historical city of Timisoara.

Our guesthouse looks out onto 1260m altitude of rolling hills with walks straight from our doorstep.

Our staff will look after your everyday needs from drying boots and clothes to your meals each day. Viorica’s sister, a professional chef cooks all the meals from fresh produce every day. Our cellar is always stocked with cold water , beer and a good choice of local wine or even a G & T to enjoy whilst relaxing in the evening enjoying the view.

We have lived in this beautiful part of Romania for 10 years and know the area to walk of around 200 square miles very well.

Very detailed and accurate GPS co-ordinated maps are available of the entire area to co-ordinate your way, with way points on route or just use the maps in the traditional way.

We also have an English speaking local guide to walk with you.

The mountain area we live in is a true unspoiled timeless wilderness with abundant wildlife to see as you walk.

We meet you on your arrival at Timisoara airport and transfer you directly to our mountain guesthouse to enjoy a holiday to suit you.
